To keep your skin smooth, healthy, and irritation-free after your wax, proper aftercare if key! Your skin is more sensitive immediately following your service. Below you will find some tips, tricks, and guidelines to follow, as well as some of our favorite aftercare items and where you can find them.

For the first 24–48 hours after your wax:

• Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, intense workouts, and anything that causes excessive sweating or heat exposure.

• Avoid tanning, direct sun exposure, and swimming (especially pools, lakes, or hot tubs).

• Avoid applying perfumes, fragranced products, or harsh skincare products to the waxed area.

• Wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent friction and irritation.

To maintain smooth skin:

• You can start to exfoliating 72hrs after a wax appointment. Gently exfoliate 2–3 times per week (once your skin is no longer sensitive) to help prevent ingrown hairs.

• When exfoliating, use an upward circular motion to help prevent the hairs from getting stuck under the skin.

• Keep your skin moisturized daily with a gentle, fragrance-free lotion or oil.

• Avoid shaving between appointments, as it can interfere with your waxing results and hair growth cycle.
