Frequently Asked Questions
Body waxing isn’t only about hygiene or hair removal, it’s about feeling truly confident in your own skin. At Double Trouble Studios, we understand that waxing can feel intimidating and overwhelming. What actually happens before, during, and after treatments? What about sweating or getting waxed while on your period? Don't worry, these questions are completely normal! We are here to make your wax as comfortable as possible and to keep our guests well informed.

We currently offer women’s full body waxing and a limited menu of men’s waxing services including backs, arms and eyebrows. We are currently offering eyebrow and lash tinting. We use hard wax in our treatment room for Brazilians, facial waxing, and underarms. Soft wax is utilized for legs, arms, and back services.
-
If you currently shave, we require at least 2 weeks of hair growth. The hair should be at least the length of a grain of rice but can also be longer.
If you currently wax, we recommend 4-6 weeks in-between appointments for optimal results!
We also suggest to exfoliate at least 24hrs before your appointment and to come in with no lotion, deodorant, or makeup in the area we will be waxing or tinting.

Sweating is a completely normal body response to nerves and stress. We understand that waxing makes people nervous and a little stressed out. We expect sweating in the treatment room, there is no need to be embarrassed or need to apologize. At Double Trouble Studios, we strive to make our clients comfortable which includes a cooler treatment room as well as extra fans. Our clients can always request the extra fan during services.
-
Yes! You can get waxed on your period. We just ask that you keep the area clean and have a fresh tampon inserted during the service. Your skin may be more reactive or sensitive to the waxing services.
-
Yes! You can absolutely get waxed while you are pregnant. Your skin is going to be more sensitive during your pregnancy, including possible increased redness, chances for skin lifting, or histamine reactions. It is always best to double check with your doctor if you have serious concerns.
-
We kindly ask that no children are brought with clients to appointments. Due to us now being in a quieter environment, we need to be more courteous of our neighbors as well as the dangers that can be present in our treatment rooms. Including but not limited to hot wax, cleaning products, electrical outlets, etc. Children cannot be properly supervised while you receive your service. IF you need to bring a child with you please reach out to your service provider to clear it with them first! Babies in infant car seats may be present, but if they start crying or yelling we may have to end the appointment early.
-
Tipping is completely optional and never expected by service providers. Leaving a tip is a nice way to tell your service provider thank you, but you will never be treated differently for choosing to not leave one. Most clients choose to give their service providers 20% of the service total for a tip.

Cancellation Policy/No Show Policy

If you no-show an appointment with Double Trouble Studios LLC three times, you will not be able to book any future appointments with us. If the card on file declines when charged for a no-show fee, you will no longer be able to book any new appointments until that fee is paid. Keeping a Card on File Policy
Double Trouble Studios LLC does require every client to keep a current debit/credit card on file. This will help make check-out a smoother process, as well as will be used for any and all No-Show Fees. After a card is added to a client file, the information will be encrypted and we will only be able to see the last 4 digits of the card. You may also use a different card at the time of check-out (as opposed to the card held on file) if preferred.
